At Mohawk College Nick is the Lead Faculty Member and the Coordinator for "Core Fusion Athlete Development and Conditioning" and the 1st year Coordinator of the Health, Wellness and Fitness Program.

Some of the highlights include: Strength and Conditioning Coach appointments for the Men's and Women's Varsity Hockey Teams at Brock University, Assistant Coach of the Women's Varsity Hockey Team at Brock University, Conditioning Coach at Launch, Performance, Wellness, Nutrition and Consultant for Total Package Hockey in London ON, and Operator and Clinical Laboratory Supervisor for Brock University Firefighter Screening Services.

In 2011 Nick was formally diagnosed with Severe Depression and Anxiety and since has been in recovery from a lifelong battle with mental illness. Since November 2013 Nick has began his personal mission to raise awareness for mental health and break the stigma associated with mental illness. Nick's honesty and openness about his journey has reached well over 5000 people through Keynote Speaking Engagements, his work with the local T.A.M.I (Talking About Mental Illness) organization, his YouTube Channel and his interview on a local talk show titled "Hamilton Life".

Nick is open to speaking with people and groups of people of all ages and has experience speaking with children and adults. There is no group too small (one on one coaching) or large (currently has spoken to a High School of over 1200 people at one time).
